HIRT guide shafts are hardened, ground and lapped to ISO h3 tolerance class. Roundness and cylindricity are within ISO h1 tolerance class. During the finishing process, the guide shafts are individually hand-lapped to ensure maximum precision and surface quality. In combination with HIRT housings and ball cages, they provide backlash-free, smooth operation without unwanted stick-slip effect and ensure a long and reliable service life – even under demanding operating conditions. Special versions for customer-specific applications are available on request.
